Noah Richard
My name is Noah Richard, and I am currently an investment banking analyst at SC&H Capital, a boutique bank based in Columbia, MD, that focuses primarily on sell-side M&A for family- and founder-owned businesses in the lower middle market. My interest in investment banking and finance began in high school when I participated in an M&A case competition through a company called Youth About Business, and I carried this interest into college at the University of Maryland, College Park. At UMD, I became involved in and eventually led the business school’s largest finance club, where I organized case competitions and helped underclassmen with networking and securing summer internships in investment banking. I graduated with a degree in Finance and Information Systems, as I believe having a basic understanding of coding and data is helpful in the ever-evolving finance industry. I am happy to discuss networking or insights into the investment banking scene in the DC-Baltimore area.
Lizzie Reedy
Hi! My name is Lizzie Reedy, and I am an investment banking analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners. I played golf at the University of Richmond and graduated in 2021 with B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. Coming from Atlanta, GA, I had little prior knowledge of Wall Street. However, I was hooked once upperclassmen mentors opened my eyes to what a career in finance would entail. The depth and breadth of learning opportunities that banking provides to a twenty-two year old is unparalleled. Also, the thought of mastering a new, highly marketable skillset appealed to me because as a student-athlete, I constantly strive to improve. I would not be where I am today if not for gracious mentors that selflessly guided me through my process. I want to be that person for you. As a woman coming from a non-target school who had little free time outside of classes and tournaments, I will advise on how to craft your story and how to efficiently prepare for technicals in order to set yourself apart from the stack. I am passionate about paying it forward and would love to help anyone obtain their dream internship/job in finance.
Amit Prabhu
Hi, I am an entry level Business Valuation Associate working in KPMG’s Economic and Valuation Services practice based in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Rowan University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree. I wanted a career that was a perfect blend of both Finance and Consulting- which provides the intellectual stimulation of Banking but within a more flexible & learning focused, casual-cultured, & people-centric environment of Consulting. Valuation is more of an art than it is a science. There is no right or wrong answer, it is all up to insight-based interpretation based on the past, current, and assumption-based future market conditions. We determine the Fair Market Valuation of Equity for public and private corporations of various industries. Our field has a growing demand for skills such as attentiveness to detail, mastery of Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting concepts, financial modeling and forecasting, market and equity research, and data storytelling. When analyzing a company’s performance, you will learn about how money and economic benefit flows in and out of different clients and their pertinent industries and become adept with the methodologies used to best model the abstractness and uncertainty of the future. You will also learn about how the regulatory landscape for financial reporting will impact the assumptions that sensitize models. Additionally, being a former student coming from a non-target school drove me to transform and develop my own pathway into Corporate America, so I have been through plentiful of networking, recruiting, and interviewing processes. My goal is to help make that transition easier for students like you, so feel free to reach out and schedule a time to chat!

Richard Pei
I currently work as a private equity associate at H.I.G. Capital in the Boston office. Prior to joining H.I.G., I was an investment banking analyst at Bank of America in the New York office, where I worked in the M&A and FIG groups. I studied Economics with a Minor in Computer Science at the University of Chicago, where I was also President of the Club Tennis team.
I pursued a career in finance as I was intrigued by the "macro" view that it provides on how businesses interact with the economy and society as a whole, and I also wanted to be in a role where I could develop both my technical and soft skills. I can provide insights on my experiences in banking (coverage vs. product group), private equity, all stages of recruiting (internship, full-time, lateral, PE, etc.), interviewing, and broader career advice. Always happy to chat so don't hesitate to reach out!

I am currently an investment banking analyst at CIBC, as a part of the EIT (Energy, Infrastructure and Transition) coverage group in New York. I studied Economics and Political Science at UCLA, and grew up in Abu Dhabi. I always knew I wanted a career in finance, but was unsure about my path so I tried out different internships, including working at a startup, a boutique investment bank, and a private equity firm. In my role, I support the evaluation and execution of investments in healthcare services businesses, including diligence, financial analysis, and investment committee preparation.
Prior to joining Lorient, I worked as a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Shamrock Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm focused on the media sector. Before beginning my corporate career, I served in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that shaped the way I approach leadership, discipline, and teamwork.

Kenny Mleko
Hello! My name is Kenny Mleko and I am a private equity associate at Waud Capital Partners. Previously, I was an analyst in the regional M&A group at J.P. Morgan in New York City. Prior to banking, I spent just over a year at Wells Fargo Securities and graduated from both Vanderbilt’s M.S. Finance program and Loyola University Chicago. It was not until the end of my junior year at Loyola that I first heard the words investment banking. It was still several months after that when I began to realize what it takes to break into the industry. If you have made it to this website, you probably have a better understanding of Wall Street recruiting than I ever did, but please shoot me a note if you are looking for guidance on your ‘path’. Through a combination of luck, graciousness, and a lot of cold emails, I had more people than I can remember share with me their journeys into banking, and I owe it to them to pay it forward.
Mike Mikkelsen
Hello! My name is Mike Mikkelsen and I am currently an Investment Banking Associate at Jefferies in the Global Industrials Group in New York. I grew up on Long Island and graduated from Boston College in 2017 double majoring in mathematics and economics. I started my career in Operations at Barclays, and from there switched to the Equity Capital Markets group at Jefferies as a lateral hire. Most recently I internally transferred at Jefferies into the Global Industrials Group. It has taken me a few years of research and networking to reach the position I am in today, and that is largely due to the lack of publicly available resources about the many different paths you can take within finance. I’m more than happy to share my path and chat with anyone about networking, interview prep, life, etc.
Caleb Michalak
I am research analyst at Point72 and was previously an investment banking analyst in the healthcare group at Jefferies. I studied finance, economics, math, and physics at the University of Richmond. If you want to learn more about the hedge fund space, please feel free to contact me!
Max Meyer
My name is Max Meyer, and I am currently and MBA student at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, I was a Private Equity Associate at TH Lee. I graduated from Tulane University in 2019 with a B.S.M. in Finance. I did my summer internship at J.P. Morgan in the middle market banking group. I took a bit of a circuitous route to land my current role and have learned valuable lessons along the way. My impetus for working in investment banking was largely shaped by my deep passion for learning and desire to excel in intense environments. Finance has always intrigued me, and I took my time to figure out where exactly I wanted to drive my professional endeavors. Throughout my career, I have participated in summer analyst recruiting, full-time recruiting, and lateral recruiting. If you need advice on any of these areas, please reach out to me!
