Welcome to Pro Forma Futures!

Pro Forma Futures (“PFF”) is a non-profit working to increase diversity in finance and consulting. We introduce candidates who are currently underrepresented across these industries (women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, and folks from other diverse backgrounds) to the various post-graduate opportunities available to them, then provide ongoing support as they pursue these roles.

If you’re interested in a career in investment banking, private equity, private credit, sales & trading, research, corporate finance, wealth management, or consulting, the PFF team can inform you about the role, provide you with a network, and, critically, teach you how to succeed during the recruitment process.

The PFF Team is comprised of young professionals that work in a variety of roles across the finance and consulting industries. We can provide advice and information that is both valuable and, traditionally, difficult to get access to. We’ve all been through recruiting recently enough to still remember the “blocking-and-tackling” aspects of it that more senior professionals are less familiar with. We also know what it’s like from the other side of the table; many of us now facilitate interviews on behalf of our employers and have additional insight into the candidate evaluation process.

How PFF Works

I. Networking

i. Within the TEAM tab, you’ll find over 150 mentors across a variety of industries that are more than happy to speak with you 

ii. We provide guidance to mentees at any level of preparation. Whether you have a superday next week and want to get in some final prep or are still trying to figure out why it’s called “investment banking”, we’re here for you

iii. Each mentor’s email is in their bio; you can reach out directly to anyone and everyone you’re interested in speaking with 

iv. If you’re unsure about who to speak with first, you can either email proformafutures@gmail.com or enter your information in the CONTACT tab to be connected with several mentors

II. Presentations

i. Part of a club or class? The PFF Team would be thrilled to give a Zoom presentation to your group. Our presentations cover the finance industry, roles typically available to students recruiting out of undergrad, and an overview of the recruitment process
