BIO

Alena Antigua leads the global healthcare technology practice at Citigroup. Alena was previously leading healthtech for Stifel and spent the majority of her career at Jefferies. Alena’s passion for financial services come from her immense intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills. Alena holds a B.A. in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Occidental College and a Masters in Liberal Arts from University of Chicago. Alena comes from a diverse family of immigrants with a mother who was a political refugee from Chile and a first-generation Greek father; she is fluent in Spanish and can read and write in Greek (after studying it for 8+ years). She is a happy mother of two, and loves reading, photography and traveling in her ‘free time’ while enjoying her family life.
